About Me
My name is Amilcar but everyone calls me by my nickname Roko. I was born in Argentina in 1998 and grew up in Uruguay. In the beginning I wanted to be a video game programmer and musician but when I discovered that I had talent in art I earned a Bachelor degree in Animation and Video Games. I worked for the movie Becho on Disney+ (Only Latam) with backgrounds and special effects.
During the pandemic I adopted the form of a plague doctor as a mascot for my artistic brand in order to help people make those difficult times more bearable and then I keeped it.
Sobre mi
Mi nombre es Amilcar pero me conocen por mi nombre artístico Roko. Nací en Argentina en 1998 y me crie en Uruguay. En mis comienzos quería ser un programador y músico de videojuegos pero al descubrir que tenía talento en el arte me hice Licenciado en Animación y Videojuegos. Trabajé para la pelicula Becho en Disney+ (Latam) con escenarios y efectos especiales.
Durante la pandemia adopté la forma de un doctor de la plaga como mascota para mi brand artístico con el fin de ayudar a la gente a hacer esos tiempos difíciles mas llevaderos y luego se quedó.
